Adrienn Katona

My name is Adrienn Katona. It is my belief that the human body was created to move, and since I was a small child, sports have taken a special place in my life. This passion for sports led me to become a Personal Trainer, but after I completed the 2 years course, I still felt like something was missing. Then Yoga found me!

I spent 3 years studying at the Bhaktivedanta University in Budapest, and graduated as a yoga teacher in 2015. During my studies, in addition to the physical benefits, I soaked up both the spiritual and psychological aspects of yoga. Whilst studying at University, I was diagnosed with a serious spinal disease. Following this discovery, I began to increase my studies regarding functional anatomy, it’s benefits and usage. In my classes, I try to share this knowledge and experience to support others on their journey.

I enjoy teaching yoga in small groups and private classes, this allows me to pay more attention to each individual. I opened my little studio - ‘the snug’ - at the start of 2019 in Aberdeen, and this is where I welcome you to join me in any of my classes, shown on the timetable – or if you prefer, a private class.
